    I love my P3S now the compass is fixed. I was going to upgrade to a P3A later in the year but now it's discontinued I'm thinking the best way to get extended range is to fit an Argtek.     I was slightly gutted when I heard the P3A and P3P were to be discontinued. My plan was to upgrade in the next few months, taking my battery's with me.     Ive just linked my iPad to my standard after using it with a note 4 and I have the same very low resolution display. Is this normal? Can anyone help? I like the bigger screen over the note but the poor resolution is spoiling things greatly.

    I suspect a Maplin test is nothing more than a hover in the car park. My advice would be to get it back, confirm the problem still exists and pursue it via DJI.

    So on the 12th December I shipped my P3S back to DJI in the Netherlands. I gave up hoping that either DJI or Jessops would do the right thing. Today I have received notice that my phantom will be repaired under warranty. As suspected it is having a new compass module. Phil.
