I "was" big supporter of this. But, sadly had to abandon thing as i do not have free time to fly as much as i would want.. back on topic. Hard to get proper bitrate. I think it's quite close to hardware limit aka you'll not get better video without massive hardware/software tweak. p3p is great...

google "wind visual scale" do bits of calculations. i'm looking to bring p3 on 20knots kite surf session that's quite lot of wind, but i think it'll make it just fine. if crash, my bad. wind is great. you can have lots of fun starting at 15kts. wind.

what about doing some "proper" open source project. I'm low with my free time, but fine with ruby & node and would love to spend some nightly hours

I would say your videos/photos are fine. Kitchen is fantastic but yeah, this is what we'll get from p3. it's not dslr, and that's it. pics looks great when resized down 50%, if you look closely and start to inspect quality of every component you'll just find how much money DJI is making selling...

like your testing style. but gimbal this does not look good :( maybe something stuck in gimbal moving parts. blow off with air maybe..

well this is sample from new device. i could not find or spot some degradation pattern. and just quickly looking i would say difference is quite obvious for average video/photo hobbyist.

Hmm not so bad in general, but tree & fence looks bit soft. I wold say we'll need more samples, also full res. Check mine, this is pic i send to my dealer. You see how building from left to right just lose detail as you are looking more to the left... right/down is ok, middle/left is very bad...

Yeah, do some basic test. It's easy to find out is your camera defective. Post pics here, i still have some samples of defected camera and whole internet is filled with posts about "DJI P3/Inspire various camera defectivness and samples" Also some variables like outside vs camera body...

Not sure about 16:9 vs 4:3. But i know that 4:3 format utilise maximum amount of pixels, no crop. I discovered blurry spot on p3a, send pics to dealer and payed bit more for pro.

i had same issue. shoot lots of random images. one from ground before takeoff, one brick wall (or some another same pattern so it's same for whole picture) from 2m, then from 5m, then shoot lots mid & far distance shots if you have issue, you could or should notice it on just about any picture...

I would say they are fine. They should look bit sharper when lighting is good. Are you from Croatia or somewhere around there?

Sorry to say but this looks bad. Prop/vibration/gimbal.. Something is not right. P3, when works, should be really really stable
