Yes, and going through the calibration process is all normal. However, many times by just entering the calibration area it will stop beeping. I move the sticks around and the display follows the stick movements. I close the calibration and have a normal flight.

I had a similar mishap where my P4P drone became disconnected. I use an iphone 6+ for my PoV and the last thing the drone did was send to it the Geo coordinates. From my iPhone I was able to track it and recover.
