I've had mine over 14 months. Numerous flights with no issues or crashes. I've never upgraded the firmware.

Tried again to get some decent water ski video of my daughter with my vision 2 plus. It's getting tougher with boat speeds exceeding 30mph.

No trees to contend with over water. I'm a complete newbie and just spent a week shooting water ski over a good sized lake. Knowing there were no other obstacles (trees, light poles, etc...) allowed me to focus on my flying and videography.

The props don't bother me too much. I played a bit more with imovie and can crop the props out of the video rather easily.

I just gave up trying to find a case that would allow me to keep the prop guards on. Seems they are all significantly larger and heavier. I've resigned myself to having to taking the prop guards on and off and ordered the tradecraft model.

Great video. Inspiring for me. I just got my vision + with the hopes of videoing my family's waterski vacation in a few weeks.
