I have not read any reports of people not having problems recording 4K with the plus remote. Actually this is the first. Are you running the latest firmware?

returning it will get you a brand new plus remote with the very same problem, as other users in the dji forum have. Theres supposed to come a fix with a firmware soon.

No need for that big thing, the ultrasonic sensor does just fine if you ask me.

Most helicopters have a Radar-Altimeter which basically does pretty much the same as the Ultrasonic sensor, just with a bigger range. I found to get quite an accurate altitude reading close to the ground (<2m) with 0.1m accuracy.

Took me a while to figure out as well as I did not have any Android experience prior. Just swipe down on the remote screen after you connected it on the mac, you should see a USB Connected message which you can tap on and command it to mount. It will eventually mount as a DJI disk on your mac.

confirmed no problem in 1080, not a single glitch with two batteries.

I have just tried two flights with 1080p and there was no single glitch and great range. Seems to be a problem only related to 4K recording on the P4P+ ...

I'm having the same problem and a bunch of other people on the dji forum seem to have it as well. I just did not try 1080 yet, only 4K so far and I have frequent glitches as stated in a thread i started yesterday. Will try 1080 and see if its any better ...

The remote does not mount on my mac, cannot access anything. Should it work on a pc? So basically you guys say, the glitches are because the plus-remote is running android and the software is broken?

I would say there's no difference between the two. I can try to take a photo of the frequency selection screen, if thats what you're asking? I could post a video if I only found a way to download the video cache from the remote :confused:

Yes did that, forgot to add in initial post. Same issue independent of 2.4 or 5.8, channel set to auto.

As stated in the first line of my post, I use a P4P+ with the buildt in display ... no extra device that I could exchange.
