I have several P4P v2.0 and bought a couple of aftermarket batteries. They are "ExpertPower 2 Pack High Capacity (15.2V 5870mAh) Intelligent Flight Replacement Battery for DJI Phantom 4". I'm feeling a bit uncomfortable about putting the AC up in the are with them. Does anyone have any horror...
My understanding is that for mapping you really need a mechanical (not a rolling) shutter which is what the Phantom4 Pro has and as I understand it the Mavic 3E. That said I don't know what app you can run on the M3E since it has a dedicated remote controller. The Mavic 3 Pro appears to be a...
DJI just released a firmware update for the V2.0 that will make it RID compliant. They are still a great choice for flying photogrammetry and mapping missions due to the 1" 20mp sensor and mechanical shutter. I just picked up a third one last week!
I recently bought a used like new P4P v2.0 on marketplace. The owner hadn't updated the firmware so I did that first thing. I live in a GEO zone so I always start by getting those unlocked for any drone I plan to fly. Of course I had to add the "new" drone to the database. I then did the typical...
I am considering an opportunity to do telecommunications inspections. I fly a p4p V2.0 and they need me to use Litchi which I have no experience with. Anyone done such work with this kit?
Just got my P4P back from repairs at DJI. I linked it back up with the controller and the top left of the screen had a red band with white letters "Cannot Take Off". This is all new since DJI worked on the drone. Going to the aircraft status page the Overall Status has a Red Triangle, tapping...
Had a pretty serious crash onto a concrete slab. Housings are shattered and the camera is torn from the gimbal. Looking for recommendations for repair shops to determine if it is worth repairing. I have searched the forum but the posts are all over the map and many lead to dead links.
thanks
I've lost the screw that connects the device holder bracket to the top of the controller body (P4P not plus) and need a source to buy a replacement. It's the flat head, slotted, recessed screw that screws in from the side to connect the two aluminum pieces. Any ideas for a source? thanks
Thanks everyone for their input. I finally decided to send it to DJI in California. They provided a shipping label and I sent it off. A few days later they replied that it needed a GPS module and two sensors and the repair would be at no charge. I was surprised because I assumed it was out of...
I have a P4P that is just out of warranty and has an intermittant GPS problem (Drone Deploy reports "poor GPS health). While flying w/ GO it jumps in and out of ATTI mode. Looks like I need to send it in. I am in Idaho so looking for continental US. I've read the horror stories about DJI factory...
