Solved! It was a matter of the P2 losing contact with the remote. On an earlier flight, I had dropped the remote and the antenna popped out of the housing. I gave a little tug to make sure it was connected inside and snapped it back in place. Either my tug or the drop broke/dislodged the wire...

My Phantom2 seems to have decided on it's own distance limits. It will travel appox 100 meters. Once It reach this limit, it ascends (20m?), spins around to point home and and then heads there. I can flip the GPS/ATTI switch to get back into control once the process has started. It's doing it...

Re: Course Lock off center 10-15 degrees I'm having similar behavior AFTER flying for 6-8 minutes. During the first part of the flight, the course lock works correctly (except for drift/hook left). Is your compass/course lock off at the beginning of your flight?

Thanks for the reply. Another datapoint- I just downgraded to 1.08 and have the exact same hook/drift problem. I am able to _confirm_ that after "learning", Home Lock brought the puppy home and Course Lock was off by about 15-30 degrees. Hmmm... If the winds lay down I'll be posting again tonight.
