You are right of course matey, there are many variants. Looking a the more common screen sizes it seems 9x7 ( ipad air) and 7x9 are most common at present but i've noticed little concensus amongst phone producers of any standard screen size.

Hi Graham, in practice, i've found the mouth of the shade wide enough to simply reach in and make adjustments etc The shape of it allows the Sunbox to just offset so you can press the 'big white button' on the ipad too.
