Seems like you could do something like spin the bird as it passes over so you could tilt the camera up as you fly away to keep that point in shot? Maybe use control lock as well?
So I took a different route rather than soldering to the ESC because I'm like you, I hated the idea. So I bought these and cut the wires from the original motor and attached the female end to that and the male end to the new motor. Worked great, just plug them together and did the heat shrink...
Just completed the motor upgrade and can confirm it's awesome. Climbs like a beast. Looking forward to a better weather day where I can flick it into Atti and see how fast she'll go.
No problem. Also worth noting, I bought the Naza-M V2 GPS puck instead of the Naza Lite GPS puck which is a bit cheaper. It might give the same results and be a little less expensive if you're interested in this mod.
