    "Shake" in videos

Oso: You are 100% right. It is white and looks exactly like part of the body of the bird and I would have never seen it. THANKS for pushing me to go further on this ... by sending me the pic !!! THIS is the value of this interchange of information on this website, for sure! Thanks again...

    "Shake" in videos

Oso: Thanks for the reply. I have flown the bird probably 10 times now and .... I just looked closely again and there is no "piece of foam" that I can see unless I don't know what I am looking for. Here is the video from my YouTube upload. I think you can see what I am talking about ...

    "Shake" in videos

I think somewhere in the large amount of literature I have read that there is some way either in the camera or in the editor software to eliminate the inherent "vibration" in the video footage which is part of the action of flying the bird. Can anyone give me a suggestion on this?

    Any generous souls?

Thanks! I'm really impressed with the P3P ... and feel extremely fortunate that my wife's friend advising her on my Christmas present, picked it. I also feel I lucked in to choosing the Movavi software which seems to work well. I don't think there are any logical impediments to being able to...

Thanks for your comments. It IS nice there at the ranch (Hempstead, TX, about 1 hour NW of Houston where we live). What I am going to do which ultimately will be to video commercial real estate (buildings and land) which I have for sale ... and 120-150 ft. high is plenty to get what I want...

New guy flying the Phantom 3 Pro

Oso: Great hints, thanks for sending. I have been flying my drone now for a couple of weeks and fortunately have avoided most of the pitfalls you outlined but I learned a lot from your suggestions and your links. This IS a learning experience for sure. These are the choices I've made so far...

Yep. I have buddies who are interested in the whole "drone" thing right now and emailing to them is kinda fun. Interestingly I also downloaded to FaceBook and the quality was good, particularly viewing on a cell phone at the 25 mb. size. I WILL try the higher resolution on my next effort (100...

    Any generous souls?

Right! I am, right now, trying to keep my videos to about 60 seconds + - in length .... and exporting on " standard", with music, I can keep the file size under 25 mb so I can email them using Gmail ... and its also a quick upload to YouTube.

    Any generous souls?

My research says: For Windows PC, use MP4 for video recording from the aircraft and MP4 with H.264 coding on export. Am going to the ranch to do this over the weekend and get further into more sophisticated "editing" including splicing, lead-ins, color editing, etc. FUN !!! One thing I DID...

    Any generous souls?

Peterepeat69: I saw your post that Movavi is "designed for the Phantom". I shopped around and selected Movavi Video Editor 12 just pretty much by chance and I like it. I have two questions: the Phantom can record in BOTH .MOV and MP4 formats and it can export in various formats too. I have...

Video playback jerky and not sharp & clear. Help!

I can video record on MP4 format and I'm sure I can export on that format also. I will try that and see how it works. Lots to know about this stuff !!! Thanks for hanging in there with me ......

Video playback jerky and not sharp & clear. Help!

I just tried this and apparently the program does not like a .MOV file for direct uploading.
