Will be attempting to fly PS3 today from a starting altitude of 7000 feet. Anyone know of any issues with high altitude droning?

I have to admit that I'm flipped out a bit about the modified range. I have yet to get a 1000 meters out of mine and didn't really want to spend the money on an upgraded antennae. I would be satisfied with 3/4 of a mile; any suggestions on how I can achieve that distance on my p3s without...
Interesting to watch the comments fly back in forth on my post. The vast majority of the folks that commented figured out the correct answer; that being AGL is directly tied to the drone and not the pilot or launch origination point. Someone provided some excellent illustrations... I hope this...
The 400 foot measurement applies to the drone, not the pilot. If the drone flys a path mirroring the terrain of a mountain side ascent, the drone can maintain an altitude of 400 feet AGL.

I spoke to a pilot and posed this exact question, his answer was this: "In aircraft flying terms vertical airspace is termed AGL (Above Ground Level) where Altitude is measured Barometrically. Private aircraft are restricted no lower than 1000 AGL in urban areas and 500 in rural areas and over...
Forest Hill Bridge is 900 feet above the river below. The mountain tops are another 400 feet above the bridge level. I'm standing at river level, how high can I fly my drone?

I read the article, but decided that I prefer not to have another program running in the background while the DJI app is actively tracking my P3. Thanks for your help

I don't plan on jail breaking my phone, been there done that and it's not worth it. I tried Shou; inherent problem is the fact as soon as you switch over to the dji app, it stops recording.

I'm referring to actual video, not single screen shots. People are posting video of the flight from the perspective that one has when actually flying the drone looking at their mobile device.

Thank you. Happy to belong... I'm referring to the live video feed that appears on the mobile device that provides real time flight data (dji app). I can't figure out how people capture that view. Driving me crazy
