You can do autopilot controlled maneuvers for tighter cinematic shots, which is the application I'm interested in. It also allows you to do flights beyond your control range, and more easily set up mapping and volumetric analysis missions.

Harassing wildlife is always a **** move, regardless of where you are. Also I'm pretty sure that since your Tennessee population is a reintroduction, fish and wildlife is probably reasonably interested enough in their success that harassing them carries a legal risk.

I like the kind of probing, wandering camera movements. You might want to be careful flying in snow and fog though. I've read that both can cause moisture in your ESC's or flight controller, both of which can cause a crash or even bricking your Phantom.

I'd use Aphex Twin's Stone in Focus for something like that. Somber, understated, but full of emotion.
