I received my gimbal back from DJI and it no longer has the yaw reset issue. The repair slip mentioned the IMU was not functioning correctly.
I flew at full speed while making turns and it didn't reset once.
I still might try to balance it a little better since I'd like to add an ND filter.
I did the same. Called DJI last week and expected the worst based on past posts. Spoke with Liana at DJI and she was great. They're escalating my RMA since I only had it for a week. Should arrive at DJI today. Hopefully, they'll turn it around quickly.
I'm not using any lens filter and still had the problem. After running the advanced calibration again my H3-3D is dead. The LED is still lit when powered, but it no longer moves and is not listed as a device under the Phantom 2 Assistant.
Tried exchanging with Helicopter World (Century Heli)...

This sounds a lot like my problem since my camera also tilts to one side without power. I'm going to try balancing it to see if I can get it working.
Bummer we have to make mods to "production" hardware.
I'm having the same problem with my newly installed H3-3D. I initially thought it was yaw motor clearance so I added some washers, but still get the same JERK.
I'm going to try to recal and then call my dealer.
Let us know if you have better luck with your new gimbal.
Very nice. I especially like the clip with your friend walking to the porch and sitting down while ignoring the swarm of bees bearing down on him. It almost looks cinematic with people moving through the shot while ignoring the camera.
I also liked the exit shot with the American flag waving...
Thanks for the reply. I was sitting in the shade of an oak tree on the far side of the reservoir (extremely low due to the CA drought). I love flying by FPV!
Practicing my flying skills and panning around a large rock in the foothills in South San Jose, CA.
I'm hoping my new H3-3d will improve my future videos once I get it installed.
Feedback welcome.

Thanks.
I'm also using Adobe Premiere CC and I've read the best way to deal with this is to create a "New Sequence From Clip".
You can do this by right clicking on a clip that you have imported. This seems to have worked well for me.

Was flying my P2Z around the Boulder Ridge golf course in South San Jose, CA when I spotted this bird.
Hard to judge distance and size through my FatSharks, but turned out to be some cool footage.

I also have strong red/green color blindness and I've been flying both a P1.1.1 and a P2Z for several months.
I've had some problems identifying the blink patterns, but it's not too difficult to differentiate between the green and red blinks. You just have to make sure you get the fast green...
Since I bought my first P1 and even now with my P2Z I still feel an itch to challenge myself.
How about starting a thread dedicated to different challenges.
The trick is keeping them safe and legal to ensure the longevity of our hobby.
One idea is to post video/pics of an amazing/difficult...
