Update: The week after the crash (towards end of August) I sent my Phantom to my dealer in the Netherlands, they would then send it to DJI Germany for "repair". While I was waiting for news from my dealer I also contacted DJI support directly via e-mail, after sending the required information...

Thanks for helping to investigate! It's a no to 1 & 2, the props never got damaged in any way. The bird attack looks like a possibility, but wouldn't there be a sign of the bird hitting the a/c? If the bird hit the propeller, wouldn't there be at least some blood on the prop? Would definitely...

Controls were all in default settings.

DJI livechat support wasn't really helpful unfortunately. Took like 15-20 minutes to find out that they can't help because I'm from Europe and I need to send an e-mail instead. Back to the waiting game... does anyone know how long it usually takes for DJI Europe to respond?

I've contacted my dealer and DJI, now hoping for a fast/satisfying response.

27 with the P3, 4h41m flight time. And had 100-ish flights with my Vision+ before

Fire appeared to be coming from the mainboard, directly above the battery. I believe the ESC's are located in the arms, correct me if wrong.

Managed to recover the video from the Phantom. Maybe the battery could have been the issue indeed. Otherwise I'd expect it to keep recording until it hits the ground (in the last frame recorded its still 5-ish meters away from hitting the ground). Or am I wrong?

Ps: I only have the flight logs from the DJI GO app. I was going to get the log files and attempt to fix the video via the Phantom 3 but as soon as I put in the battery and turned it on there were a few flashes inside, bit of fire and some smoke coming out so I immediately pulled out the battery...

Net lokaal nieuws gezien waarin er een deel was over drones, hebben die nu net gezegd dat het gebruik er van in België illegaal op dit moment... er zullen wel weer van die mensen zijn die niets te doen hebben en de politie bellen als ze me zien vliegen, zeker als ze dit gezien hebben. -.-...
