Even if your flight went well today......? If you are getting power and the gap still exists I would put a piece of tape over the battery (from top to bottom) for a flight just for extra precaution. Not likely to slip out that way and easy enough to remove to get the battery out later. Good luck.

Same issue here. I ordered p4 with 2 extra batteries and a charging station from Adorama on Black Friday. One battery was DOA. No problem returning it for a new one. I like to deal with reputable dealers to minimize any hard feelings when spending on expensive toys
