Anyone know any place I can order/buy one of these? I've had a repair ticket open with DJI in verified for almost 3 weeks and am getting tired of waiting.
Thanks!!!
Hi all,
I am still learning both the drone and video editing. I made a short clip flying my P4P this afternoon and did a minimal color grade with FCPX and color finale the attempted to burn a bluray to play it on my 1080P TV using an xbox one to play it. The footage looked fine on my computer...
Just returned the case I ordered from ebay. Didn't seem to fit the P4P and if it did it was going to distort the shape of the pack. Ordered a Manfrotto D1. I'll post an update about how I like it once I get it.
Thanks BigA..since I fly for an airline I don't get BFR's but our every 6th month check rides count. Luckily, I just took one and actually still have the paperwork from it. I think every thing you said about is correct. I appreciate the info.
Excellent. I called my local fisdo today to find out exactly what I needed and how long out appointments were running. I was told about a week. I'm excited to get the license although I have no immediate plans to monetize my drone flying.
Not looking for any of the questions or anything but just some impressions of the course/test. Did the short 2 hour online course prepare you for the test or was there a lot of info that wasn't in the course being tested? What did you think of the entire program.
Thanks!
Thanks for all the suggestions. The reason I posted instead of searching, which I did, was that many of the other posts were about the P4 and I heard that some packs which fit it won't fit the P4P. Not sure if that was true or not.
I ended up ordering this;
Procraft DJI Phantom 2 3 4...
Can anyone recommend a good backpack or carrying case that will hold the P4P with all of its original equipment plus have room for a spare battery or two, some filters, and some spare props?
Thanks!
Thanks for all the suggestions! I really appreciate the help. Not sure what I'm going to do yet but perhaps a relatively inexpensive raid array might work, or multiple bluray disks as back up. Time to start doing some research.
I'm just using the drone for hobby/fun so no need to for me to go too crazy. I'd be nice to have a relatively safe separate back up. For now I think I'll use the TB drive and later, if I start collecting a bunch of files maybe go for a bluray burner.
I think you guys are right. The 2 GB drive should be plenty if I edit it down. I'm curious why bluray isn't considered a safe storage. I thought that was supposed to last hundreds of years?
Thanks!
If I get too many files I was thinking about getting a bluray burner and backing them up with that. Has anyone tried that and had luck, preferably on Mac?
New P4P owner with a question. How are you guys storing all your video files. Those things are huge. I just bought a 2 TB external thunderbolt hard drive. I'm not sure that will be enough.
The video on this thing is awesome.
