if the camera starts initializing when you turn the bird on and then just goes limp then the issue is with the gimbal cable not registering and needs to be replaced

i'm donating one tomorrow to "less fortunate". Feels much better than selling ;)

what's sad is that the battery inside the P3S (standard) controller is completely different then P3 A/P or P3 4k controller. :(

different battery, i was almost 100% sure that the P3 4K controller has the exact same battery as the P3 A/P which my batteries are from. same voltage and connector but bigger battery.

Exactly Mike, i can't believe that neon or anyone would even suggest that but hey, we live in the world where we "owe" something to someone all the time right?? NOT! what goes around comes around. do the right thing and what euc is suggesting is far from right!

the non working gimbal probably has a bad cable or camera module. cheap fix, as far as upgrading to P3P gimbal for extra $50... that's your call. the only difference is 4k (P3P gimbal) vs. 2.7k (P3A gimbal) so if you don't have the hardware to edit, view the 4k resolution it really won't make...

i have them actually. just to clarify, you need the battery for P3 4K controller (battery fit from P3 A/P/4K controller) and NOT the P3 Standard controller, correct?

thank you Dave, there is a small little LED light in front of the gimbal. when you turn the bird on what is the pattern of that light? keep in mind that if you don't insert the microSD card in the gimbal, it will always flash red. i am interested in seeing what the light on the gimbal does when...

Dave, can you please make a short video of you starting up the bird and the lights, beeps,..? maybe about 20 seconds into you turning the bird on. i want to see the startup then i can let you know what your next step should be. Hani

Dave, go to the microSD card and there is a hidden folder called MISC in there and inside MISC is LOG folder and there is a txt file. open it and copy/paste the content here so we can look at it.
