What happens if your quad is overweight ?

I've seems a few people here and there talking about weight limits and the badness of being over them. What can we expect if our quad is overweight? Also what is the current weight limit? I think I head 2000g is current?

    wind & prop guards

That, is mighty lame of them. I would suggest getting a scale and seeing what your weight is. I have a similar setup, but with the h3-3d gamble, and love my prop guards. Just today I was outside practicing and ran into a garbage can, which resulted in a crash. I also contrived to tree my...

Why can't you find the gps sats? Also, how to inspect gps?

My Phantom seems to never find GPS sats since I put it into naza mode. It just flashes green-red-red-red. I'm sure there are other topics on this, but I can't think of the right search words to find them. Anyway, I did find a topic where someone suggested looking at the gps module to see if it...

Where can I replace the anti drop pins? H3-D3

You know, I don't think the clear plastic retainers can be a Zen muse exclusive. They MUST be available somewhere in a huge sack for a few pennies, if only we knew what to Google for...

    "Quick" release for prop guards

I think the super Velcro solution would work, but I don't 'like it.' I want some other solution. No offence to the fellows using the 3M super Velcro... I just can't put my faith in the stuff. I know it might be good on an intellectual level, but I want something that feels better for me.

Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimbal?

Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba Polarizers operate by filtering all the light vibrating in a certain direction. Normally to select that direct, you rotate the polarizer. Normally, you set your camera on your tripod, set your focus, set your exposure, THEN rotate...

    "Quick" release for prop guards

I'm thinking about cutting them, so they slide on and tighten down. Anyone tried that? The idea would be so that instead of a hole and a screw, you have a channel to slide it one without taking the screw out. Then you tighten the screw. Think this would work, or is it a bad idea?

Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimbal?

Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba One thing I find extremely weird is that they didn't mount the gopro upside down on this gimbal. that's likely worth a thread by itself, but by inverting the gimbal, it would center the lens, which would better balance any lens...

What does the S2 switch do?

I was looking in the assistant software, and I clicked on the 'phantom' button in the top, and the software asked if I wanted to switch to naza mode. It gave great many dire warnings, so I didn't do it. Is the fear I'll have the IOC incorrectly set the only reason? Because I for one would...

    Police came around

There's a guy in this thread who has a tricked out night ops phantom. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=539&hilit=tricked&start=40 I can't attest to the quality of his pictures, but his phantom looks good.

Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimbal?

Re: Lens protector (and lens hood) for gopro with this gimba That's kind of a neat lens hood... And it might do... but I do want something a bit more protective. Oh, Jaybee, Technically an ND filter will (Textbook here) "reduce the quantity of light entering the lens without altering it's...
