I'm not saying that a data file is the only ID I have on my drone. It is just one more way that someone might find me. A label has limited space and may fall off or get destroyed. The chip has unlimited space for information and will likely survive most crashes and weather.
I was interested in how they were planning on conducting the scam in that if you pay by a credit card, you can always get your money back from the credit card company. I always get a one use credit card from my credit card company when ordering anything from an unknown company, this way, they...
I bought this on Amazon for $39.99.

I had to spend 20 minutes with an xacto knife to make things fit well. You can't expect too much for that price. See my review on Amazon. Now everything fits really...

Having never owned or flown a drone before a few weeks ago, the only rules I knew about were airports and something about maximum height.
At what point in my shopping research for my expensive play toy do you think a reasonable person would have come across information on VLOS?
There was...
The real point is that most people consider an under $500 drone a play toy. The majority will understand and accept the 400 foot rule and the airport rule, but that is about the limit of their knowledge and compliance. Passing regulations for people to follow will not work. The only thing...
I checked it out. It does not list P3-SE as a supported model, and it is a lot of money to spend on something that may or may not work in my situation. However, I will keep it on my list of possibilities. Thanks for the info.

A reasonable thought, but the route is not passible on foot, and I'm still not clear on how the waypoint system works. It sounds like I'll have to wait until new Litchi software comes out that supports the SE.
