So I see the Go App just came out with new update yesterday. Unfortunately I'm not home to test it out. Is there any info on what was fixed? I really hope it fixes my Samsung S6 issue of being disconnected.

When I get things loading, I'm not seeing anything in the WiFi that says phantom. I have a p3a.

I'm able to stay connected with my Nexus 10. It's a couple years older than my Samsung S6 but at least its staying connected so far. Both Android devices just updated too. Funny thing is the nexus says the bird firmware needs updating, so it makes me nervous to use it

Yes, one of the times I actually had connection (before attempting a calibration), the rc updated the firmware. So, bird and rc are both latest

Well the Samsung Galaxy S6 (Verizon) still gives the "disconnected" message and acts the same as it did before. Luckily my Nexus 10 is working (so far) but it gives the warning that the P3A needs updated (which I know is up to date to the latest) Frustrating :(

Thanks, I will give that a try. I just went to http://www.dji.com/product/phantom-3/download and downloaded the app on my phone (after uninstalling and cleaning any residual files after the uninstall). Unfortunately I'll have to wait till after church to try it all out. Will let you know what...

By the way, I also downloaded the older application (DJI Pilot) APK as was recommended in one thread, but was getting the same issue. So I went ahead and reloaded the Go App.

So I just received my P3A today. yay! Anyway, while unpacking, I noticed the camera was flopping around and the gimbal protector was laying at the bottom of the box. The camera looks to be fine but I cant get the protector to stay on the camera. It easily slips off unlike my P2V+ cameras...
