Perhaps a tracker? I'm not sure which is the best, I see a lot about the Marco Polo. It's a 2 mile radius but you can prolly get that close to it if lost.

I had my P4 out trying to see the distance it would achieve, I have had several video signal losses before at 3000' or so but made it out to 5200' this time and lost signal. I had the same question, search function.. Thank you! I was eating up the card space in 4K and was unable to download videos. Plus I have no 4K viewing equipment as far as I know.
