I have learned so much from this exchange re batteries - THANKS ALL! That’s why I love this group. :p I have been doing it wrong for so long that it is a wonder that I have had only one (expensive) battery related problem with my P3P. I am now going to spend an hour or three setting things up...

Hi. At last, a topic that I can confidently comment on as a newbie! I also had problems with an iPad Mini 3. I upgraded to a Mini 4, and now it works well with only very occasional stutters in the feed. As for waiting for a Mini 4, according to Mac, that may take a very, very long while...

It is coming together. One final (I promise) question. If I tether my iPad cellular to the controller with the OTG cable, and have GPS activated on the iPad, will it work? Or do I need to be using the iPad wi-fi to connect to the aircraft rather than the controller wi-fi?
