Wellcome , I'M new here as well , I find that I get more info from reading previous post than asking ? directly .This forum has a bit of an attitude towards newbies so I try not to ask for help . There are a couple guys here that are very helpful and very nice. Just my opinion.

I just reshelled my Phantom 2 after a bad crash . Youtube has some great videos On the this topic . I just followed they're lead .. it was pretty easy

Thanks J DOT ,,,, I notice your in Sarasota , So am I . I was struggling with the landing Gear Idea and becoming frustrated . I was changing out the toilet seat saw these whatchacallits . and it hit me ,, LANDING GEAR .. Pretty funny , I still have to laugh at it , but it works ...

I had a problem with the stock landing gear being to short and not having a enough clearance for my gopro 3+ so I came up with this idea while changing out my toilet seat at the house

Happy to report that after a few test flights the bird seems to be flying normal . I stayed at a low altitude just in case , 20 -30 feet , Holding GPS pretty well still drifting a little but that could be the wind 10 mph... battery level dropped to 14% and the bird came home

Sharon, Outstanding footage and the editing is superb , Enjoyed it .... I'm stressing over a crash 2 weeks ago . I have NO confidence at this time . I got my bird fixed but I'm awful gun shy about flying at this point . My crash was mechanical catastrophic loss of power for no reason...

Wild Guess .... Could have been a number of issues . The tech could not pinpoint the real problem , So I"m just going to get it back in the air again try regain some trust . I'll do some test flights for the next few weeks . unpopulated areas for sure . Thanks for your reply

Sorry to here about this , I feel your pain , it happen to me 2 weeks after I bought my phantom 2 , I didn't even bother with DJI , I just fixed mine New shell , New esc. A real Pain good luck to ya ..
