Same here in the UK, don't know what everyone else is seeing/thinking but free with kindle unlimited is not free...

My best so far, works out just over 5300ft / 1 mile, thats unmodified P3S with a cheap windsurfer attached, pretty impressed considering I was expecting no more than 500m here in the UK.

I wonder if it is due to it being a bit unbalanced as it has the gopro stuck to the front of it?

I would assume that the ground was not perfectly level and that the motors that were slightly higher were spinning slightly slower as if to correct itself back to level, I've noticed that with every quad I've owned, even the £10 ones!

I have a genuine(hopefully!) one arriving tomorrow from a link in another thread on here. Cost less than £90 posted, so in between the usual rrp of a genuine one and one of the cheaper 3rd party ones. Most 3rd party ones seem to be £65-75 so I didn't mind paying a little more to get the genuine...

Max range so far 1242m with my P3S :O

I think the highest frame rate a P3S can do is 60fps at 720p? So you could half the speed of that and keep it at a smooth 30fps, but the quality compared to the 1080p or 2.7k footage would obviously be worse.

I have a backpack which i prefer as even though its quite big, it's a lot more low-key than the hardshell ones. I've only taken my P3S out for about 5 flights so far, but like others have said, it's a quick job taking props off and putting them on. Plus it prompts you to check their condition...

Have you checked the settings to see if the 'enable intelligent flight modes' toggle is activated? People have mentioned that their settings have been reset following an update so maybe you need to turn multiple flight modes back on??

I went for a flight tonight 9 (2 hours ago) and I had a red bar saying there was new firmware on the app. Let me fly fine without updating yet, I'm on IOS btw.
