Try software updates first then re bind the controller to the phantom. Might be worth going into advance settings on phantom assist software and doing a full MUI calibration as if this is too far out it may prevent power up. Hope that helps a bit.
Hi guys
Bit of what I would call an odd one. Twice now in same location I have had my Phantom 2 behave in a very bizarre manner.
Took off, flew ok (video feed a bit laggy and drone not as smooth response), landed and wound down. The next I know, the props are gradually spooling up, no input at...
From my experience I have found there are a lot of fake SD cards out there that malfunction. I only buy from a reputable outlet now. Not Amazon or eBay etc.
Hi
Your WiFi booster takes the WiFi signal from your phone and boosts it before transmitting pit to your phantom. In turn, if you search on your phone for WiFi points you should see Phantom_******. If this is not visible with drone and WiFi booster turned on and WiFi refreshed then there is a...
That’s great. Thanks. Just the sort of upgrade I am looking at. I had heard of this modification but not seen any decent information. Are there any restrictions as to what go pro will work or is any go pro compatible? I would probably be aiming at a hero 4 just for the improved frame rate over...
Hi All
I’m looking for some advice as to camera upgrades for the vision 2+. I intend to purchase a Mavic Pro 2 but still intend to fly my old Phantom 2 but would like to bring this up to 4K but without spending stupid amounts of cash. Any advice appreciated.
There’s always a reason. Just a case of determining what that reason was. For it to drop straight from the sky without warning would suggest some pretty major power loss. Hope you survived relatively unscathed.
I have had similar strange behaviour flying in certain locations. Whilst certain atmospheric conditions can cause temporary GPS loss I have found that flying in areas with rich iron ore deposits can really screw with the compass and GPS. My simple solution was to fly for the short piece of...
Might I suggest a 3rd party gimbal which are readily available and a GoPro Hero 4 (which will be the most recent GoPro that will work with the phantom/gimbal setup). Whilst I appreciate it may not completely eliminate all you want to replace it is a much more straightforward modification that is...
It’s unlikely to be a good day for all parties involved. Obviously the FAA are going to have to investigate and rewrite the rule book. Compared to the U.K. I feel FAA legislation is perhaps a little lax. Over this side of the pond there’s no way you could throw something like a kitfox together...
