Wow! That is crazy! Certainly glad you didn't injure (or kill) that passerby. I have the Ground Station installed on my Tarot 680p hex using the Naza v2 flight controller. I have not tested it yet, but this makes me very nervous.

Shot a combination of DSLR and aerial video (using my Phantom 1 with H3-2D gimbal) last September while there for work. Kosrae is such a beautiful island, with maybe 6,000 people living there. Can't wait to go back in August with my P2/H3-3D and do more exploring! Thanks for watching the video...

Is that optimal positioning for the bird antenna? Excuse my lack of knowledge on this subject, but how is that better for reception compared to antenna on the back of the copter - especially if it's bent to face down.

Levanterman - YES! Success for me as well! I tried it once again, this time using pliers to hold the gimbal gimbal plate, got the tweezers in place, held my breath and powered up -- RED lights! Did the sequence of re-updating the IMU and all works well now! Thank goodness for these forums.

Noticed that the gimbal gain function works really nicely to slow down the tilt...but it's only available when you select 'Basic Version' under 'Transmitter Version' in the RC tab. Somehow it isn't functioning in the 'Upgrade Version' setting. Not complaining though. Just glad to have the gimbal...

So frustrating. Got my new P2 and did first flight today. Everything working okay except I experienced the 'yaw snaps' on the H3-3D that have been documented in this forum. Hooked it up to Assistant and saw there was an 'update' to the H3-D3 IMU. Installed it, power cycled (as instructed), but...
