I had the same problem after I updated to the newest software. I am using an ipad mini2. It took a couple of restarts of the quad and controller and then it finally connected. Now it is fine.

I was in the smoky mountains today and it would not let me fly until I did the update. I had no problems yesterday flying in Hilton head island. Why does dji force the updates on you...?

Is it done yet? I asked them a month ago and it wasn't made yet. If it looks anything like the one made for vision 2 it will be worth it.
