I am puzzled at how to do this elegantly. I have an 8" screen attached to the transmitter, and have to unscrew the mounting screw to remove the monitor everytime, but I still have the brackets protruding from the Tx...this doesn't fit into my cutout for the Tx in my case.. I don't wanna remove...

Thanks!.. For a few flights, I took off from Julliard Park (on Julliard Jr), and flew across to the pond to film Behemoth. Second time around, I flew over empty areas of the north parking lot of the amusement park.

you can use any device you wish to view the video, the problem is how you going to get the feed to it? Vision and Vision Plus use WiFi, and have a wifi transmitter and receiver.. so even if you figure out how to install a wifi tx/rx.. it'll cost you more headache and money than getting an analog...

Is there any reason why you would want to pfv using your iphone as the monitor? Is it cost related? Range is 1km based on specs..u can go up to 2km in ideal situation..extending range would require you to change the antenna on your transmitter. Without fpv you shouldnt worry about range since...

thanks guys! I ended up using a dremmel tool with a very THIN cutting wheel, and made a notch for a flat head.. came off like butter! And now just ordered new screws :)))

Man that AVL58 is HUGE.. is like 3 times bigger than ImmersionRC 600mW... also it requires a special board?? seems like going AVL is a bulky solution. Any reason you went with it as opposed to ImmerionRC?
