Thanks for the replies. I will tie into the main power and forget adding the extra pack. I might see if I can shift the gimbal to the rear a little to help offset the weight and adjust the settings in NAZA.

Each pack is charging at 6.6 amps (39.6 amps total output from the PL6). The packs never get warm during charge. You can charge slower if you like. This is also a DC charger so use in the field is not a problem.

Totally safe to charge as high as 3C, no loss of life to the packs. Only requirement is the packs must have a minimum discharge rate of 12C to charge that fast, which mostly all lipos have these days.

I use the PowerLab 6 with MPA parallel adapter. I can charge my 6 3S 2200 packs in 15 minutes.
