I own/operate two P4P's and this Advanced, so I kind of know when things are not right.
I have very little side to side stabilization, like it's "lazy" and lots of "wiggle" for lack of better descriptions. I do get a "Gimbal Overload" error from time to time but quickly clears...
Trust me... B&H has some of the best customer service anywhere I have experienced. I have used them for over 15 years and order from them monthly... they have always made things right.
If you intend to do something felonious you can do it as NM_Quad has stated..... but the average ham guy keying up his mic... not so much. I would be more worried about hacking the RF digital connection from some computer nerd than I'm with this.
As a ham, 40 years+, love my CW and enjoy E-Com. There is one thing we all strive for is a clean signal. For a lot of reasons, two of which is efficiency and undo load on our finals which cost $$$ if burned. CLEAN signals are less likely to cause ANY interference. As mentioned above, 1500...
