2 comp repair houses said they could not reattach the socket to the m board. Cell phone guy said “no problem”. 10 min and a couple bucks later, I’m good to go. Functionality trumps looks, no?

I’ve taken mine to a cell phone repair shop a couple times for this. Easy for them with the right tools. Turned out like this.

Thanks for digging that up Rod! I read thru the whole thread and the only mentioning of the flashing green is mentioned as a symptom at some point then disappeared from the discussion. That surprises me since it’s so odd. I don’t think it’s shorted because the mechanical switch/button is off...

That’s flashing red. One of the 3 documented conditions.

Update... Flashes green once per second, not twice. Firmware is current.
