I have been using the Anafi for the last two months as my RE drone. I fly it almost every day. It has been OUTSTANDING and I will probably never use my Phantom 3 again. It is quiet, the images are great and it does everything I need it to do. The great thing is that we have CHOICE. Competition...
I live close to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama. They have both enacted local "laws" prohibiting or limiting drone operation in public and private areas. The following is what is on the Gulf Shores website:
Public Beach Rules & Regulations
The City of Gulf Shores strives to provide a...
I will echo many here. I too had lots of issues when I first received my drone. The same kind you were having. I thought it was ME doing something wrong. Once I changed to an android device with enough "horsepower" to handle the app and all it does, I haven't had those problems again. I'm very...
That isn't the point. I'm done with this discussion. Everyone seems to be fine with being ripped off. And it's not going to change by my complaining. And I am tired of people telling me that I don't know how to run a business.
" The TEST has to be all encompassing and applies to all sUAS under 55lbs. "
Why? Because they are too lazy to construct more than one? I drive a two axle vehicle. I don't have to get a license to drive a 18 wheeler to get on the highway. And yes, the $150 is too much. In this economy every...
Just for the sake of conversation, what isn't? Besides, "most" of what is on that test doesn't even apply to flying a drone. My complaining isn't going to change anything, but I still think it's ridiculous to charge us $150 every two years. And if you are going to use the argument that there are...
I am probably in a minority here, but I am so irritated by this. In my state, I can get a license to drive a 2 ton vehicle at age 16, pay $15 every 6 years and NEVER have to take a test again. But if I fly a drone, I have to drive 2 hours (1 way) retake a test every 2 calendar years AND pay $150...
Add me to the list of those who love Litchi. Creating missions at home is not only fun, but so easy. And the mission can fly so much more smoothly than when I'm doing it with stick only. If automatic transmissions in cars weren't easier than stick, no one would buy them. And for those who love...
Thank you Kristina. While I cannot stop unlicensed realtors from flying and taking their own images, I can continue to take BETTER images. If they choose to use inferior images to attempt to sell a property, that's on them.
Here is my .02 on the issue of Realtors flying without the 107. As a RE photographer, I certainly bring up the topic when I am in meetings with my clients. I cannot make a big issue out of it because it will get me blackballed. My clients are too hard to acquire to alienate them by making a big...
I loaded the mission at 125' in the air. I wish I could go back and redo the mission tomorrow, but it's an hour away so it will be a bit before I can get back over there. I'm at a loss as to why this did not record.
While I am here asking questions, is there a way to "know" that it is recording...
I was not manually taking photos while the mission was being run. The photos were taken manually, then I ran the mission (twice). So taking still pictures were not attempted during the mission.
