    Phantom 3 flight controller parameters

Which parameters did you change? It would seem the ascend and descend rates have changed but the sleds is still limited to 16m/s

    Phantom 3 flight controller parameters

I don't seem to be having much luck with My P3Pro on firmware 1.11 I've changed the parameters for faster horizontal speed and ascend and descend speeds but nothing has taken effect. Trying again one last time after modifying the min values as well as the default to see what happens now but...

Tablets and phones that work well with DJI GO

My mate uses an iPad mini 4 and the retina display is awesome. But it's not that bright outside but it's got great visibility. The cube t7 is great but no longer in production, it's rather old now, not supported in terms of updates but the screen is amazingly bright. It puts the screens of...

Tablets and phones that work well with DJI GO

I can confirm the cube t7 works really well. Really hugely bright screen. Paired with a Matt screen protector gives really good visibility outside.

    Phantom 3 fans

Yeah, I have seen them. Like you say however, not handy for the UK and EU.

    Help Please Gimbal Repair Crazy

The screw on the yaw motor can only go one way, however on the roll and pitch motors, they can go either way. I'm pretty certain that if you removed the backs of the pitch/roll circuits, you'll find that the flat of the potentiometer is facing the wrong way. Had that with a recent repair...

    Help Please Gimbal Repair Crazy

Sounds like the motors are positioned back to front. The flat on the motors should be facing in towards to the main circuit board and not out towards the edge if memory serves me right

    Phantom 3 fans

Hi all. I've recently been in contact with the supplier of fans for DJI drones. This came about after repairing a gimbal for an ebay customer and glueing the fan back together after it was smashed to pieces, I wanted to know if it's possible to get replacement fans for the gimbal. I've spoken...

What is the P3 SE exactly ?

The P3SE doesn't so much as switch frequency, in that it operates on both. Video feed is on 5Ghz, RC control is on 2.4Ghz. In the frequency settings, It's possible to switch the frequency in which the RC communicates with the Tablet/Phone device, whether you wish to use 2.4 or 5.8ghz and which...

Safe speed to avoid motor cracks?

My dad liked Formula 1, Mansell, go figure!

    CE / FCC

I can confirm that the Magic power mod doesn't work on the P3SE. You can log in to the SE using FTP but the branch you enter into doesn't allow you root access to the files so you can't go any higher in the folder chain. In terms of range? I've had 5km out of my SE on 2 occasions. Any...

Safe speed to avoid motor cracks?

Exactly, one of the main complaints I've seen about the P3 is cracks on the arms, hence the investment in plates. By the way Nigel, it's nice to meet another Nigel!

Safe speed to avoid motor cracks?

I admittedly have purchased aluminium brackets to fit under the motors on my P3P to stiffen and reinforce the plastic arms as a precautionary measure, they help spread the vibrations outwards rather than focused on a single point. But I also run balanced props that have been balanced on my...

Safe speed to avoid motor cracks?

Once again vibration is the killer. Making it rigid isn't really the answer as it'll just effect something else in the chassis. Remember, It takes energy to crack something like that, energy coming from the motors in the form of vibrations. In an ideal world, dynamically balanced props are the...
