    A simple question ? (Crystalsky)

Interesting question. There are HDMI splitters available. One of the things we have discussed is the use of an HDMI TV for use as an external monitor. It seems that with the splitter, you should be able to send video to the Nikon.

Drone registration ruled unlawful by U.S. Court of Appeals

The Parks Department does not own the airspace over Federal parks. If an airplane can fly over the park so can a drone. The FAA owns ALL the airspace!

Check your SD card before flight

Some great ideas discussed in this thread. After almost 20 years of Aerial Photography for just about every kind of client possible from governmental, industrial, business and individual, the file system that works best for me is this: I file EVERYTHING by the name of the business or the...

Check your SD card before flight

Flying an aircraft, unmanned or maned is all about managing risk. If I am planning a quick one hour flight in a Cessna, I do not take off with 1 hour and 30 minutes of fuel. I ant the tanks completely full. Correspondingly, if I am on a manned Aerial Photography flight, I do not go with half my...

I realized today that auto land is my friend.

I have had multiple problems with the landing and the "Left Stick" method. I have occasionally used the "Auto Land" but in most cases, I just bring it down to 6 feet and VERY carefully grasp my P3P by one leg and then kill the power. Never had a single incident that way!

What To Do In A Dire Emergency

What To Do In A Dire Emergency

I am beginning to use Litchi and of course DJI Go. I am concerned that I don't know what to do in case of "Dire Emergency"! So...if in the middle of a Litchi "Way Point" run or a DJI GO "POI" execution, my P3P heads for the mountains or begins doing something seriously wrong, how do I stop my...

Drone stuck in 125 ft tree

I found the link: We were flying at the RC Hobby park and there were lots of aluminum antenna pipe sections they keep for getting RC airplanes down. They were unmanageable and might have damaged my bird. The fall from 60 feet did not look like a good idea. I paid $135 for the cherry picker...
