    Phantom 3 Pro + 3X Batteries & 2 Prop Sets - $600

Great kit to get started flying with a Phantom 3 Pro! This kit includes all the original accessories, 3 batteries, and 2 full prop sets along with the original box and manuals. I also have a set of ND filter films that are included. The shell was completely replaced earlier this year by a DJI...

    D Log or D Cinelike??

I just want to chime in here too... I've tried both D-Log and D-Cinelike and found the D-Log to band really severely. I was using ND filters to keep my shutter speed to either 1/30 or 1/60 to match up with the 4K 30 FPS H.265 video I was shooting. For me, especially flying in places with a lot...

When to calibrate compass (and what for)?

I didn't think about the dual IMU thing. I just switched over from a P3P and I was very very strict about always calibrating at new places but I'm guessing it was much more important with that model than it will be with the P4P.

When to calibrate compass (and what for)?

My understanding... and someone please step in if I'm wrong... Compass calibration is probably the most important when you're moving from one latitude to another. My theory here stems from the deviation between magnetic north and true north, I know in aviation you have to adjust your heading...

Serious banding in blue skies with D-Log profile

So... even after the update the consensus is that Cinelike with reduced contrast and saturation is still the best way to go for the best results with post-production? The original thread I went through was preaching d-log and -1/0/0 or "none" for the best post-prod results.

Serious banding in blue skies with D-Log profile

I'm curious about this too. Just took the P4P out for the first time yesterday, shot in d-log h.265 4K@30FPs, Polar Pro 16 stop ND filter, -1 sharpness and everything else zero, converted to DNxHR to color grade in Resolve. The final product had serious banding in both the blue sky and on other...

The Classic Dilemma - Upgrade or Wait

I really appreciate the offer but you all have convinced me. The P4P is unpacked, charged, and updated. Camera has been configured. ND filters arrived and are ready to go for this super sunny Cincinnati day. I have a real estate gig this afternoon. Going to take the P3P and the P4P and...

The Classic Dilemma - Upgrade or Wait

I took that pic before all the regulations got hammered out and before the 107 existed. Gonna be a pain in the *** to ever get a pic like that again!

The Classic Dilemma - Upgrade or Wait

Yeah I think this convinced me to open it up. Also took my 107 at Lunken! Hah. Very small world indeed!

The Classic Dilemma - Upgrade or Wait

Yep! Some great urban scenery here. Looking forward to doing more with the P4P now! This was before I really knew much about editing or color grading but features a lot of downtown: And of course we also have the cool stadiums:

The Classic Dilemma - Upgrade or Wait

Thanks for the feedback. That's definitely what I'm leaning towards but didn't know if anyone had either heard credible rumors of an improved sensor or didn't find the P4P worth the upgrade. Glad to see it sounds like the upgrade should be worth it! It's sitting on my counter top begging me to...

The Classic Dilemma - Upgrade or Wait

Hey everyone, So I'm going through the age-old dilemma now... I currently have a Phantom 3 Pro. It's served me nobly for around 2 years now. My biggest complaint with the P3P though is that it has lots of compression artifacts in 4K video and I could also use higher quality RAW pictures. It...

What to know before flying in Mexico?

Someone above posted that it was only for a 2kg or more drone. A phantom with a battery is only 1.2-1.3kg so you should be fine.
