After installing the latest firmware and getting the latest DJI app you are limited in height and distance unless you sign into the app, after that it will release you from these restrictions. Attempting to change these settings in the app does nothing....I spent a few hours swearing at mine...

It is now, the last update called for copying a bin to the SD card. Supermofo, what are the lights doing? mine took about 15-20 minutes to complete. Are you waiting long enough?

When you think about it, $400 for a machine like this is insane. That is a small price to pay for the level of tech that you are getting. They will crash, it's only a matter of time.

I basically figure each time I take it up it's not coming back....that way when it does I am super happy each and every time :) well, except twice.....but then I got to learn how to fix it!!!

LOL, i lose connection multiple times almost every time i fly... once for about 8 minutes and of course it was well out-of-sight....thought for sure it was a gonner....nope finally came back on its own.

repair it! it's 17 bucks... i've crashed mine three times already. if your gonna own a drone you might as well learn how to repair them...

i do not see a need for these at all... i had a hard landing no my P3S the other day and i mean hard landing. popped off on of the camera rivets camera came swingin off... put back together works fine. landing gear on bird is good enough, they are like babies, they bounce pretty good!

you don't have anything to worry about, at least for 3.5 more years... this dopey president we have will never add anti-drone regulations.... haven't you heard, he doesn't like regulations either..... worrying about future regulations about drones is not even on my list of things to worry...

i can only get about 400 ft away and loses connection RTH, signal strength on the app shows weak connection right from the start. only 2 bars, after a few hundred feet no bars and returns. when i look at the flight data it shows 100%

ahhhh, the dreaded compass...... well then it's fine, as i'm not getting any compass errors. anyone ever have to replace part 69, the RC antennas? doesn't seem like there is much to them, but my RC connection is really bad. i have tested it on two different controllers with same response.

so, there are 5 total antenna's on the P3S, two for video inside the bird, two that come down the legs of the landing gear and then this one???
