    Flying In Heat

Heat Index only applies to people not drones. They do not sweat. I fly in Texas temperatures of 95-105 regularly without issue. Just don’t throw your batteries on the charger immediately after flying.

Are altitude limited zones a hard limit?

That is what I thought. Thanks for confirming.

Are altitude limited zones a hard limit?

If an abandoned grain elevator is 150’ tall but located inside a 100’ altitude limited zone can I fly maximum 100’ AGL, 150’ AGL or 250’ AGL within 400’ of the elevator?

    UAV Forecast app?

I agree with you on the Kp, I also find useless, I think my drones fly fine in up to 20 MPH winds. Temperature, I haven’t really pressed the lower limit but last summer here in Texas I regularly flew in 100 degree weather without issue. Probably 102-3.
