    DJI FC40

    The FC40 is limited to the FC40 app, it can't be used with the Vision app or DJI Go etc. Sent from my Pixel XL using PhantomPilots mobile app

    Replacement for camera?

    The camera you're looking for could depend on a range of factors. If you want range (like the stock camera - 100m or so) then you'd best go with another DJI Fc40 camera or perhaps a GoPro. Although they don't have the best range. But if you're looking for quality then go with an decent action...

    motors will not start

    This seems like a fault with the drone. Plug the drone into the NAZA assistant software (http://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/nazam-v2/NAZAM_2.20_Installer.exe) and preform a factory reset. Once reset, make sure your Phantom and the controller are up-to-date with the latest firmware! Tell me if this helps

    FC40 Control Distances

    I've reached 1100 metres with my FC40 a couple of times. But be careful to keep it within line of sight, as failsafe is temperamental at times according to posts.

    Was you using the correct voltage to charge the camera? (5v)
