To link your DJI Phantom 4 RTK (P4R) to its remote controller, turn on both devices and launch the DJI GS RTK app. Navigate to Menu > RC Settings > Linking. Next, use a paperclip or pen to press the link button on the side of the drone until it turns solid green to complete the process...

    Phantom 4 RTK

Yes, the DJI Phantom 4 RTK remote controller is equipped with a built-in micro-SD card slot. While the micro-SD card in the aircraft itself is primarily used for saving captured photos, videos, and raw RTK data, the card slot on the controller serves a few specific purposes: Importing/Exporting...

phantom 2 vision plus 3.0 shell

The DJI Phantom 2 Vision and Vision+ require legacy mobile devices running Android 4.0 to 6.0 or iOS 6.1to 12.0 to run the discontinued DJI Vision app. Because of operating system changes, modern phones and tablets generally cannot bind to the drone’s Wi-Fi extender. The original supported...

    Resurrecting dead DJI batteries

Agreed. It's not worth the risk sometimes. I only use 'questionable' batteries for bench testing.....no props. If a battery quits mid flight,........... GRAVITY takes over instantly. 🫪

Phantom 3 Advanced Controller not Linking to iPhone/iPad

The DJI Phantom 3 Advanced is compatible with iOS and Android mobile devices running the legacy DJI GO app (specifically, DJI GO 3). To ensure smooth flight telemetry and video streaming, your device must run iOS 8.0 or later or Android 4.1.2 or later. Because the Phantom 3 Advanced uses an...

The ol' P4P still making money...

Yeah, but he can still sit right seat in a 172 (or other similar aircraft) and do a few T&G's or a few ILS approaches at your local airport. Just find a local pilot that will let him take the controls for a while.....maybe buy the Pilot lunch, or offer to help with the fuel at the end of...

Sourcing an aftermarket Phantom 3 battery

Additional info: Both Powerextra and ExpertPower are popular third-party drone battery manufacturers, but ExpertPowergenerally has the edge in build quality, while Powerextra is favored for budget value. The choice largely depends on your drone model and risk tolerance for aftermarket...
