You shouldn't need any authorizations to fly in Class E airspace. I use 'Aloft' (formerly KittyHawk) app to obtain any authorizations needed to fly in controlled airspace such as Class C or Class D. These authorizations are FAA approved using KittyHawk.

Well, that's not a good sign...😫. Even the PowerExtra company site doesn't list them anymore. Hopefully others will chime in with their recommendations on non-OEM Phantom 3 batteries......and an honest assesment on their performance. Anybody out there try the 'ExpertPower' brand yet...

Since DJI no longer supports the Phantom 3 series, parts like batteries will be nearly impossible to find in new OEM condition. My original OEM batteries are still hanging in there, but one day I too will have to venture off into the twilight zone and attempt to find comparable aftermarket...

Suggest you go to the 'Search Forums' section near the top of the main page. There, type in 'Aftermarket Batteries' in the keywords section to bring up numerous threads about that subject. That should be all you need to get started. Some members have had great luck with aftermarket...

List it in Phantom Pilots Classified. Read over the selling rules in that section if not sure how to proceed. Good luck.

Only thing I can figure is that the drone updated, but not the RC. The blinking yellows would mean the bird is not talking (linked) to the RC. Still too many questions to ask...and that 'sky pixel' reference has me baffled too.

A lot of good questions.....plus 'two yellow lights?' Where, on the arms? *Isn't it amazing how a firmware update will screw-up a perfectly flying bird?......
