    Ok. If it were me, I'd change out the 3rd party ribbon cable to DJI OEM Part #85 'before' I did any firmware changes. Firmware upgrades/downgrades should be a last resort.

    DJI GO 3 is not compatible with the iPad mini 2. DJI GO 3 requires iPadOS 12.0 or later, while the iPad mini 2 can only be updated to iOS 9.3.5. This means the iPad mini 2 is running an outdated operating system that is not supported by DJI GO 3. The iPad mini 2 is also a 32-bit system...

    I'd start by doing an IMU calibration on the drone using the GoApp. Be sure to have the drone level and motionless for the recalibration to be successful.
