These are the exact steps I followed. Original post was by skyguy17. The ability to do any of these was not possible in the go4 app. The trick here was the go3 app. All of the text below is copied word for word from skyguy17’s post on the DJI site. Same problem here is how I solved this...

This solution worked for me. See my post at the bottom as I had an issue with step 4. Once I got the camera button to pop up I was good to go! P4 - v02.00.0106 - RC blinking green/red via @dji

I have no desire to do that. Obviously they don’t have the infrastructure to support the device. Why can the craft be connected to assist 2 but the RC can’t? With that ability this would be an easy fix.

Extremely frustrated. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Went through the process in the link. All the steps went as described. Linking completed and results are unchanged. Rapid flashing green and red light and terrible camera display in the app.

Nope.......no luck with that. Here is the screen I get. Even says I’m not connected but on the main screen I’m connected.

Same green and red fast flashing light on RC?

No option for the RC update in overall status......just a blank black screen.

After some time without flying the P4 I pulled it out today and initiated the firmware update on the AC. Now that it’s finished the RC has a rapidly flashing red and green light. No option for RC update in the go app. Transmission quality on the iPad is terrible just sitting at the kitchen...

Ok I've searched here and can't locate this topic although I'm sure it's already been discussed. What's the difference in buying itelite DBS extender straight from their site vs. buying from Maxx UAV?
