Be careful in Iceland, I was just there in October and the weather can change dramatically in no time at all. It's going to be hard getting around Iceland in the winter. Consider getting a guide unless you have a lot of experience in extreme weather.

I think none is the other best option. Depending on personal taste, I think none or art is the way to go. I personally like the art profile with just a bit of saturation and contrast added. None is obviously going to have more contrast and will require the least amount of tweaking in post...

Exactly. Hell, just look at the tree. It looks like someone put a pastel art filter on it or something. It's absolute mush. Turning down sharpness also seems to eliminate detail, as opposed to just softening it. As far as I can tell anyways. I am thinking that if you want a flat picture style...
