With my P4 standard I was able to create a photogrammetry mission in GS pro by flying to the boundary corners and defining where I was flying by using the camera.
Has anyone been able to do this with the P4 RTK and the RTK app? I just cant find where to do it. Very useful function.

Hi guys,
I have recently finished designing some basic GCP’s purely for placing then surveying in the field. They are basic, light, of manageable size and most importantly bloody affordable. They can be used and picked up all day long or left out for constant surveying a good example of this...
Thanks mate!
If anyone else out there is using GS pro with a standard P4 can you see if you can upload your mission with 'by equal distance' enabled??? Needs to have latest firmware and lasted software release of GS pro. Any help appreciated.

Hi Jim,
I'm at the end of a mining project so just trying to stick with what I know for now. May change down the line.
You can setup missions without flying a boundary. But flying the boundary is by far the easiest way to set it up when you have set out your ground control.
Thanks anyway
Hi Guys,
Been trying to fly some waypoint missons with GS pro the last few days and I always use 'capture by distance interval'
For some reason when I go to upload the mission GS pro tells me that my aircraft does not have the correct firmware and it cant use this capture method. Time interval...
Could setup something like Swiftnavs Piksi or any of these small L1/L2 band GNSS recievers.... Pretty sure they do an L1 only receiver too. Really.... you need access to an RTK system to make it super easy. I have a JAVAD system, but I'm also a surveyor..
Thanks for that, was literally just going to walk out the door and try it... the inly issue I can see with this is the gimbal movement when flying backwards. Im assuming the range of motion is more limited than forward flying. Mind you i havent had an issue yet and I just completed a very large...
Hi Nick, some good youtube vids on this particular subject. I did one for fun the other day where I sat in my car, se the POI over the top of me and manually took pics while the P4 orbited me. Did a few different heights and distances away. Used agisoft Photoscan to make a model. You can get a...
I noticed that too when using GS Pro too, but I fly to high to see if its flying backwards. Might pay to just go somewhere flat and do a test at low altitude?
Yea Ill try that too, don't want to go too high because I'm mainly surveying pits. I usually take off from outside the pit and as I fly over the edge my altitude in some cases can double. Wouldn't mind keeping a decent ground resolution.
Thanks guys, good info.
I'm processing 350 photos as we speak in Agisoft. Setting were;
50m flight altitude
90% Front
70% Side
DJI GS pro doesn't give me area (I'd rather that than distance flown) but the distance was around 2400m worth of waypoint flying at 3.2m/s
Did it with 58% battery...
