There are times when weather conditions will give you signal problems at about a mile. Happened to hit that one just right. I had 15% battery left when I got back. Too close for comfort.

P3P and stock. The weather conditions were very good that day. Total distance out about 16000 Feet.

Longest flight for me. I don't see a need to go this far again. Just wanted to see if it would do it.

I lose it all at the same time. Whe I lose video I usually lose signal also. After aprox 3 second, the RTH should automatically begin.

You understood correctly. I haven't got them out of the DJI Go app. Trying to figure it how it's done.

I've been out 16240 feet and it flew great. Had a spotter for the flight. See no need for me to do it again. Just wanted to see the capability of the aircraft. Stock.

Sorry for adding fuel to the fire guys (got my first shell crack)

I have 2 cracks also. Sent an email to DJI. Told them I would replace the shell, just send me one. Haven't heard from them other than the usual log #.

    Gimval issues after firmware upgrade

I get intermittent "gimbal motor overload" messages. Doesn't seem to affect the operation, but I don't like it.

    Latest pilot app

I have updated everything and all is great except for "gimbal motor overload" flashes up occasionally.

Help!! Can't Update P3P to newest firmware

The only thing that can be in the root directory on the card is the bin file. If anything else is there, it can cause problems. If you get a failure, delete everything but the bin file and update again. My updates go smooth as silk when I do this.
