    Phantom GPS unit

I don't really see any benefit from doing that. The GPS antenna is brittle, and would crack easily. The other DJI GPS units come in a plastic housing anyway, so it must not be too difficult to penetrate. Also, the GPS must be installed facing a certain direction, that's why the top shell...

    Bind Phantom 1.3 w/Futaba?

The answer is no. You would need a Futaba receiver that is compatible with the Futaba transmitter. Actually, that's not 100 percent true. "ORANGE" has lower cost alternatives available, but I don't have experience with them.

    Cases for Phantom Vision

If it's your first Phantom, then it shouldn't matter. As soon as the Vision is available, cases will be be too.

Can I slow down the turning around stick? (R)

There are probably kits available, to lengthen the gimbal control sticks, as well as springs to add resistance to your movements. If you do begin to consider an aftermarket radio though, research them thoroughly, as there are multiple brands, and models. Not all of them are as expensive as the...

Wait a sec, isn't a smart phone perfect camera for phantom?

Re: Wait a sec, isn't a smart phone perfect camera for phant The GoPro came with a protective case, with mounting system, so it could handle some amount of abuse. It has also become the accepted standard, for action cameras. You will not even find mounts for the Contour, or Sony action...

Can I slow down the turning around stick? (R)

I don't think it's possible with the stock DJI controller, because it's not computerized. It is possible with aftermarket radios like the Futaba T8J, and Spektrum DX series, using the "Exponential" settings. You can set up a switch on these radios to change the rates for all 4 stick...

    Video transmitter recommendations?

DJI has a 5.8 ghz video downlink kit, that retails for just over $200. It's not something i have personal experience with, but I'm sure many forum members do, and I've never read of any complaints regarding it's performance.

Newbie with a couple of questions

Are you trying to take off slowly ? If so, that could be why. It's best to give it a good dose of throttle, and it will lift off nicely, and once it's out of it's own prop wash, it will be easily controlled, and able to hover well. BTW, don't call the compass a magnetometer...... It' too...

Best FPV googles on the market???

The Dominators require you to purchase the head tracking module, and the receiver separately. It makes sense, due to the different transmitter frequencies for the receiver, and whether or not you need head tracking. There was a rumor, that Fatshark was coming out with an HD version of the...

After changing RX I have a continue yellow flash!

Did you change the setting in the Naza Assistant for the transmitter, to "traditional" ? I believe stock DJI was set on "PPM" and something like a Futaba S-Bus with a single connection is set to "D-Bus"

Best FPV googles on the market???

The OP didn't request information on the legalities of using FPV in whatever country or state he resides. He just wants to know what FPV goggles are we recommending. It is up to the individual user to comply with all state, and local laws.

Best FPV googles on the market???

I think pretty much the Fatshark Dominators, are the best at this time. Carl Zeiss, has some for over $700, but the quality does not match the name. Only the high price tag. There are other brands for sure, and you should continue your research, but I think most of us use Fatshark...
