The Samsung S3 works great with the V:2, it does not overheat, and you can see the screen outdoors. No complaints from me.

Yes, El Dorado Park in Long Beach. You can pick up an annual pass at the Spring Street office. Always a few friendly Drone and Fixed-wingers there on the weekends to chat and learn from. Open daily. Just make sure you learn where the drone area is before you lift off.

I have a new Samsung s2 and a new DJI P4Pv2.0 (both purchased in May 2018). The DJI Go4 app connects every time and I have experienced no issues on flights. UgCS however never connects - "Waiting for DJI device to Connect...". I need to use the s2 because it's the only Android I can see well...
