That's a myth.
The +controller can be loaded with any older android app, I run Litchi on mine with no issues it's very easy to load third party firmware onto the +controller. My post has nothing to do with the P4P RTK! I'm discussing a aftermarket device I saw attached to a regular P4P.
I saw a P4P+ for sale with an aftermarket RTK module mounted on top But couldn't get any info, I was wondering if anyone knows of any add on devices for RTK?
Compared to a little Mavic air 2 my P4P pro+ is far less stable I chalked it up to the fact the P4P is older tech and firmware I don't think the P4P is capable of hovering as stable as any of the newer cheaper drones out there even my tiny mini SE is more stable in hover then the big P4P in no...
I'm not far away and have a phantom 4 pro+ and an Air 2. in Lakebay past gig harbor.
I have a few hundred hours on drones, shouldn't be hard to snag it with the phantom 4
The specs don't really translate to real world conditions very well. I think those are just absolute maximum deviations(cookie cutter specs).
I'm now convinced that the algorithms and the electronics IE CPU etc are not as fast or sophisticated as the newer drones, I'd love to replace the guts of...
according to the app everything is perfect. but I can fly it twenty feet away and hover in one spot, do the exact same with a newer drone, the phantom 4 is noticeably more unstable. I did full cal a couple of moths ago.
The more I mess with it the more I'm convinced it's normal for the older...
I've installed a new set of the OEM props based on some other things I came across while searching. I'll need to wait for low wind conditions, the issue for me is it has always been "drifty" as soon as I flew a newer mavic series of a few kinds most often being my new to me air 2 not (S) it just...
I wonder how youre going to plug anything onto those two damaged connectors, they were ripped off the PC board and will need to be replaced using SMD soldering techniques. The board the connectors went to is damaged!
Of course the two connectors that were torn off are the two you need to...
Hello I've been mostly flying the Mavic air 2 lately because of the smaller size and it seems to attract less attention when setting up to fly.
My question is that I perceive that the phantom 4 pro doesn't keep as steady in low/no wind conditions as the air 2.
I haven't done a very recent IMU...
I NEVER "amended" altered or edited any of my previous posts. You have no idea about the very spefic issues in regards to this specific controller, it's not "basic" android issues. Hence my call out for assistance. Since you have no SPECIFICS which would apply to this issue I have no idea why...
Do you know what a pro plus controller is? It's an RC remote controller with inbuilt android screen.
It's made by DJI for the Phantom 4 Pro. I keep trying to tell you this but it seems like you aren't reading my posts.
Anyway I'm glad someone learned something here lol.
Above you're talking about ios in respect to the Pro + controller, The pro + controller uses an old version of android.
So I'm still at a point where I need to completely remove the existing Go 4 app and replace with an older version which I have access to.
Yes I suspect the later versions of Go 4 are written to ignore the .dji.configs file. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out how to delete the current go 4 app from the controller and install the one I want. I have access to all the older versions I just need to figure out how to uninstall...
