That's a myth. The +controller can be loaded with any older android app, I run Litchi on mine with no issues it's very easy to load third party firmware onto the +controller. My post has nothing to do with the P4P RTK! I'm discussing a aftermarket device I saw attached to a regular P4P.

Above you're talking about ios in respect to the Pro + controller, The pro + controller uses an old version of android. So I'm still at a point where I need to completely remove the existing Go 4 app and replace with an older version which I have access to.
