Phantom 4 Pro Pix4d Mission Problem - Hovering

Thanks for your reply. The precision landing failures I believe are related to the same Pix4d mission failures, because we lift off from a ground control point target with an easily recognizable pattern, and have had zero issues with our previous P4. Precision landing with our current p4 has...

Phantom 4 Pro Pix4d Mission Problem - Hovering

Our company has recently purchased a second (factory refurbished) P4 Pro. Our first worked well with Pix4d for many flights until an unexpected power loss on descent at the end of a Pix4d mission. Our second P4 has only successfully completed a mission once, after several tries and on different...

    Battery at 0%

It's common for battery to read zero percent when on an autonomous mission and without radio contact. As far as regaining video feed and accurate flight information after flying back in range, you may from time to time experience some quirks when using Litchi. You are doing things that were not...

Litchi RTH and made it home safe !

If I am not mistaken, "smart" return to home (activated automatically when the aircraft computes that it must return due to low battery) is still activated and functional in Litchi if turned on in the DJIgo app, and it works regardless of whether or not you have radio contact. On longer litchi...

Litchi RTH and made it home safe !

As long as your mission uploaded I don't believe the aircraft would have stopped to hover. On my last mission I lost connection and had a similar situation, the flight was at a relatively low altitude and heavy tree cover. I got sporadic verbal updates that all indicated the same position, but...

    Poor Quality Photos - P3A

Low light photos are always going to be problematic, especially with these cameras. A minute's work with Photoscape freeware can do a lot for a photo like this. I'm no expert in post processing by any means, and it's always best to have the original photo as close to perfect as you can, but that...

    Litchi waypoint question

I flew my first way-point Litchi mission in July, after studying everything I could get my hands on regarding the software. I checked, double checked and triple checked my mission settings, aircraft settings, etc. I went all in, knowing that I was going to lose signal on the two-mile run above...

Distance and height stuck at 30m

Does this problem occur with Litchi as well? I'm assuming you don't have it installed since you didn't mention it, but perhaps someone else may know. I haven't flown my P3s in a while, but I tend to use Litchi (Android) almost exclusively due to the many recent problems with DJI apps. If you are...

Need help in marking specific spot on a flight log.

I would just take a photo of each find. The coordinates of the photo will be in the EXIF data which is easily read by freeware such as Irfanview. To view coordinates first open the photo in Irfanview, press the letter "I" on the keyboard (or from the drop-down menu click Image, then...

Looking forward to testing these range extenders...

I was looking at the Argtek but decided on the Alfa mod instead (for the P3s as well). Half the price of and the same or better performance as the Argtek from what I have read. I have not fully tested them yet, though I did run a Litchi mission with them installed and lost signal at 3500 feet...

FAA investigating drone flight near Albany (NY) Airport

It's already illegal to do a lot of things, yet these things are still done on a regular basis. You cannot legislate common sense or good behavior. The fact that drone technology has dropped so significantly in price and almost anyone can afford one now (and the fact that I notice people with...

Broken aerial that sicks out of the rc

Yes you will greatly increase range, possibly measured in miles (in areas free from interference). At the very least signal strength is increased at short to moderate ranges. It's fairly similar to the Argtek mod, only much cheaper. There are several threads here on this. Search for Alfa mod.

Broken aerial that sicks out of the rc

I'm not really sure what you're asking. If you want to keep everything stock then find someone here with an original antenna for sale. Use the video as a guide to see how to detach/attach the correct cable. If using an aftermarket antenna to replace the stock omni antenna you would need (1) one...

Broken aerial that sicks out of the rc

You can fix it easy enough but you'll have to take apart the remote. The remote antenna is not offered as a spare part through DJI. You'll have to find someone who is selling one, or you can mount an aftermarket one with some minor modifications. The stock antenna is integrated so you'll need to...
