Zenmuse damper screws too long?

I recently bought the Phantom 2 + Zenmuse combo. Now ran into trouble attaching the Zenmuse to the Phantom.

One of the damper plates came preassembled to the Phantom, the other damper plate is attached to the Zenmuse. However, the long black screws that are supposed to be used to connect the two damper plates, are too long, so the Zenmuse is not firmly fixed. I just cannot turn the screws enough to tighten the two damper plates to each other - there will be a gap between the rubber damper and the damper plate.

Has anyone else experienced this or am I doing something completely wrong here?

Thanks, djiati!
I actually thought the anti-drop screws were too long, but your photos helped me spot my own stupidity - I hadn't put the damper ends through the holes in the damper plate and was trying to fix it just with the screws.
Now everything is assembled, just left to hope tomorrow will be dry enough to take it for a test flight.
Thanks again for the quick reply!
