I have noticed I get quite a lot of shaking from turning and also from the wind. I have only flown twice now but I am intrigued as to how much difference a gimbal will make to this. I am aware it keeps the camera steady whilst filming but to what extent?

a lot. gimbal is the way to go. I have the one made for the fc40 camera, got it at HD $290. plug n play, have the Mobius on it, very easy to do, push the button set camera were you want it pointed let go button done, easy like sunday morning

got at helidirect, its $250. take a look at the video on the bottom of the page. im very happy with it. you will need to join the 2 wires to the set hanging by the front leg. I used a 3in servo lead , cut it in half, soldered both sides, that way you can remove it, I put a JR switch inline. to save power when not in using camera. its a clean setup. good luck.
