Yaw control PV2+

Does anyone know how the signal from the stick for the yaw is done?
Is it a pulse or a potentiometer? I could of course open it and have a look myself but I don´t have the control unit here for the moment
My idea was if it was possible to make something via a switch that could be enabled when I want to yaw (pan) slower!
